Alliant 2400 was originally developed for the 22 Hornet, but in recent years has gained renown in reloading for magnum handguns. This powder has moderate barrel flash in 4 inch barrels, but usually none in longer barrels like the Ruger 6 inch barrel. Many people also like using it 45-70 with 405 gr cast bullet and is a superb choice for .410 bore loads. Alliant 2400 is just the magnum high velocity powder you need.
